INTERNATIONALS - HUNGARY
Hungary v England
1991 | UNOFFICIAL | |
This 3-match series was actually a club tour of Hungary by a Belle Vue team with some guest riders. The Nyiregyhaza poster and programme (below) both advertise the match as Hungary v England (for the Volcano Truck Cup), though the Miskolc programme calls it Hungary Select v Manchester-Belle Vue (for the Postbank Cup). In truth the tourists were neither England (as they included American Kelly Moran) nor Belle Vue (as the team included David Blackburn and David Walsh from Berwick, plus the Berwick team manager Chris Morton - who had retired from riding at the end of 1990)! | ||
