Warren in Speedway Echo Nov 5, 1949, the Swiss tour comprised three
dates, the other two being individual events staged on 15.10 and 18.10.
No results are available.The tour party comprised the eight riders
listed above, plus Ray Duggan, Arthur Bush, Sid Clark, Frank Lawrence,
Ray Moore, Don Gray, Don Ellis, and Bruce Abernethy. Birmingham riders
Warren, Payne, and McLachlan did not ride in the first meeting, as they

280 yards long, laid inside the steeply-banked cycle track of the Oerlikon Stadium. |
